Through 12 years of on-the-ground intelligence, ministerial relationships, and full logistical infrastructure, GBF Investments (Liberia) Inc. has the unique capability to identify, secure, and activate proven alluvial gold mining locations throughout Liberia — at scale, and on demand.
Two-thirds of Liberia is underlain by Archaean and Proterozoic rocks of the Leo Man Shield — part of the West African Craton. This geological formation hosts approximately 50% of the world's giant gold deposits (>100 tonnes), as confirmed by the USGS Cooperative Geological Survey of Liberia.
The Liberia Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (LEITI) has identified approximately 600 gold occurrences in Liberia, predominantly alluvial placer deposits. GBFI's intelligence network spans this entire landscape. Unlike operators tied to a single registered claim, GBFI has the relationships, field knowledge, and logistical infrastructure to move capital to the highest-yield targets across the country — at any time.
"The Leo Man Shield is one of the world's most prolific gold-bearing geological structures, with confirmed mineralization across multiple deposit types."
— USGS Cooperative Geological Survey of Liberia

GBFI's intelligence network includes locations independently tested by ALS Minerals (Reno, USA) and documented in the Liberty Mining International 2007 NI 43-101 technical report. The following results represent the type of high-grade mineralization GBFI's team has identified and can access across multiple locations in the region.
| Drill Hole | From (m) | To (m) | Width (m) | Au (g/t) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BODD002 | 28 | 30 | 2.0 | 4.00 |
| BODD005 | 24.7 | 26.2 | 1.5 | 5.71 |
| BODD011 | 0 | 5.9 | 5.9 | 7.17 |
| BODD011 | 11 | 17.6 | 6.6 | 4.94 |
| BODD011 | 18.9 | 19.6 | 0.7 | 58.30 |
Important Note: The alluvial (surface) operation targets a conservative 2.0 g/ton average, well below the hard-rock grades confirmed by drilling. GBFI's ability to select from multiple proven locations means operations can always be directed to the highest-confidence targets. The break-even yield is just 0.36 g/ton — representing only 18% of the base-case yield.
GBFI employs a dual-trommel mobile wash plant system — U.S.-manufactured, Africa-resistant equipment designed specifically for Liberian conditions. Critically, the system is fully mobile: it can be transported and redeployed to any new location within GBFI's network as opportunities are identified and secured.
No chemicals are required. The system processes 100 tons per day per plant, with material handled only once from excavation to final recovery — cutting operational costs by up to 50% compared to conventional operations. As capital scales, additional plants are deployed across multiple concurrent locations.

GBF Investments (Liberia) Inc., registered in Monrovia, Liberia, was founded by Dr. Gordon Goetsch — a veteran entrepreneur with over 12 years of experience in Liberian mineral mining and community development. The company operates under the DBA name Sonrise Mining.
GBFI's most powerful competitive asset is not any single mining claim — it is the relationships, intelligence, and logistical infrastructure built over more than a decade of operating inside Liberia. Direct relationships with government ministers, county-level officials, and community leaders give GBFI the ability to identify and secure high-quality alluvial locations that are simply inaccessible to outside operators.
Combined with a fully deployed logistical infrastructure — transport, equipment, supply chains, and a community-embedded local workforce — GBFI can activate a new location faster and at lower cost than any competitor entering the market from scratch.
